Team Development
From connection to performance: Strengthen trust, illuminate shared purpose, and collaborate more effectively.
Teams are expected to perform, align, collaborate across functions, and navigate complexity — often without space to renew trust or purpose.
Team development creates the conditions where relationships deepen, collaboration strengthens, and performance becomes collective rather than individual.
Build collaborative capability
Through shared experiences and structured reflection, teams improve communication, empathy, and emotional intelligence in leadership, leading to better collaboration.
Pillars of Team Development
Teams don’t bond through activities — they transform through shared meaning and honest dialogue.
Surface real team dynamics
We help teams understand how they work together — seeing patterns, strengths, and blind spots in a safe, facilitated environment.
Turn connection into performance
We focus on how teams apply insights back at work — building habits around feedback, shared goals, and responsibility to sustain performance.

Bringing resilience & performance to life
Energizing 120 global executives through immersive “Benefit Games” themed sessions at Berlin Leadership Conference.
- Leadership immersion at the Global Leadership Conference in Berlin
- 5 sessions with elite athletes for 120 executives and senior leaders
Benefit Cosmetics convened 120 executives and senior leaders for its annual Global Leadership Conference in Berlin, centered on the “Benefit Games” theme drawing inspiration from elite athletes worldwide. The company sought to translate this athletic excellence metaphor into meaningful leadership development that would resonate with a global executive audience. Nina Walters, Director of Global Talent and Organizational Development, needed a partner who could design an experiential learning approach that would energize participants during People Day while delivering lasting impact on leadership capabilities and organizational alignment.
WDHB designed a suite of experiential programs, from Learning Expeditions for senior management to TF1 Connect and Leadership Connect for broader teams. These experiences exposed employees to emerging ecosystems, fostered collaboration, and embedded new ways of thinking.
“If you bring a group of senior leaders together they want to have an experience and make it worth their while. The approach of learning someone’s story and genuinely connect to olympic athletes with incredible insight and experience in their field was exactly what we needed. I can’t believe we pulled it off, but we did!”

Leadership Lessons From The New Pioneers Of Space Exploration
Developing director-level high potentials to lead transformation through immersive lessons from NASA and commercial space innovators
- Three-day customized immersive experience at Kennedy Space Center and commercial space facilities in Cape Canaveral
- Exclusive access to NASA’s first female launch director, retired astronauts, and commercial space executives
- Creating lasting internal dialogue on innovation leadership
- Designed as capstone to year-long Senior Leader Development Program for 20 high-potential directors
As one of America’s leading insurance groups, Progressive sought to prepare its next generation of enterprise leaders—director-level high potentials across product management, claims, and IT—to excel in strategic planning, building coalitions, and leading change. Following successful Apollo Experiences for GM-level executives in 2017 and 2019, Progressive needed a fresh, engaging approach to leadership development that would differentiate from traditional classroom training while reinforcing competencies from their internal development program. The challenge was creating an experience that would bridge existing learnings with deeper exploration of change leadership and cross-functional collaboration for leaders who would soon advance to executive roles.
WDHB designed the Launch Point Experience as a three-day immersive capstone journey exploring the future of space flight as a metaphor for innovation and leading change.
Participants gained rare access to Kennedy Space Center facilities and heard from visionary leaders revolutionizing space travel—including NASA’s first female launch director who guided teams through the end of the Space Shuttle era, retired astronaut David Leestma, and executives from leading commercial space companies pioneering space tourism. At the historic NASA KSC Observation Gantry overlooking the Apollo 11 launch site, leaders connected lessons on organizational change, resilience, and risk-taking to Progressive’s transformation journey. Tours of commercial space manufacturing facilities revealed approaches to fostering innovation climates and ‘two-way door’ decisions that enable calculated risk-taking.
Throughout the experience, WDHB facilitators and senior Progressive business leaders guided discussions applying aerospace industry insights to participants’ own business contexts, introducing frameworks like the S-Curve Innovation Model that continue to shape internal strategy conversations around innovation stages and leadership effectiveness.
“The most unique, forward-thinking leadership experience I’ve attended.”

We love to find answers. Let's start a conversation about how our experiential learning programs and services can answer your needs.
Experiential learning brings the real world and learning concepts together. Participants are placed in a situation with real-life context and high authenticity and are challenged to live through it for themselves. Based on this first-hand encounter, they reflect and develop ideas that are applicable for their unique leadership and organizational objectives. The outcomes of experiential learning are characterized by higher relevance, increased buy-in, broader ownership, and more sustainable impact.
