The three days are purposefully designed to capture NASA's enduring innovative power and translate their lessons into actionable insights:

Day 1: Innovation as the Foundation for Success

  • Overview of NASA’s Innovation: Begin with an exploration of how NASA’s culture of innovation has driven its success.
  • Leadership Stories: Dive into compelling stories from NASA’s history, such as those of Kennedy, Webb, Apollo 1, and Apollo 11, emphasizing leadership and organizational culture.
  • Immersive Elements: Engage with historical artifacts and immersive experiences to connect past innovations with present challenges.
  • Experiential Learning: Mindful facilitation to encourage translation of divergent experiences into relevant insights.

Day 2: Navigating Uncertainty for Strategic Advantage

  • Leadership Power Skills: Focus on essential skills for modern leaders, including dealing with uncertainty and embracing audacity.
  • Applied Workshops: Engaging in a human-centered design activity to practice the resilience and growth mindset essential to NASA’s continued success.
  • Authentic Dialogue: Participate in discussions with NASA leaders and panels encouraging learners to take ownership of the learning process and apply content to their contexts.
  • Reflecting on Uncertainty: Visit a NASA partner to learn about maintaining performance and making strategic decisions under pressure.

Day 3: Collaboration as a Growth Lever

  • Effective Collaboration: Highlight the importance of collaboration in modern organizations through immersive experiences like ISS Mission Control.
  • Diverse Partnerships: Discuss how NASA’s partnerships enable it to tackle new challenges and explore new frontiers.
  • Final Synthesis: Conclude with a synthesis session ensuring actionable takeaways.
