Key Responsibilities

As a Program Manager at WDHB, you deliver the organization’s learning and development solutions. Your responsibilities include implementing and managing learning programs to enhance our clients’ skills and knowledge. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, leveraging learning principles, and ensuring high-quality, successful program delivery.

Working as part of our international Operations team with counterparts in Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, you will take ownership of the planning, coordination, and execution of our virtual and on-location experiential learning programs for our clients based globally. This includes:

  • Developing timelines and budgets
  • Curating program content (e.g., completing research and outreach in order to secure speakers in alignment with the vision and purpose of the program)
  • Collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders across functional teams and timezones
  • Securing logistics (e.g., food, lodging, transportation, etc.) and delivering a seamless participant experience on-site
  • Assessing program outcomes
  • Identifying, conversing and maintaining relationships with executives and inspiring leaders across nearly every industry

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • You are an early career professional with 2-4 years of work experience, preferably with exposure to business management, event coordination, learning and development and/or consulting.
  • Strong intercultural communication skills with a curious and open mindset, always excited to learn.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across digital channels and in-person.
  • Equipped with business sector knowledge and a passion for staying up to date with future trends and innovations.
  • A team player, outgoing and proactive with a positive outlook – even in challenging situations.
  • Solid public speaker and presenter.
  • Previous experience in speaker research, recruitment and management.
  • Highly organized and meticulous, able to multi-task and trouble shoot in fast-paced settings and often in unfamiliar places.
  • Ability (and eagerness) to travel domestically and sometimes globally for program deliveries at least 8-10 times a year for 3-10 days each depending on need.
  • Able to work across different global timezones (including CET and SGT). There will be the occasional need to be available during very early mornings and/or late evenings, pending the location of the clients and colleagues you are working with on any given project.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages a plus.
  • Technical proficiency in the Google Suite + Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Adobe Creative Cloud, Zoom and MS Teams.
